System Requirements

A computer with a processor 133MHz or greater, and with 64M of RAM or greater. 

Microsoft Windows 2003, XP, 2000, NT, ME, 98, or 95.

Use of the C: drive on your computer to install the program on. 

On your computer install program under your Administrator account for best operation and installation.

Microsoft Windows Media Player 6.4 or greater.

Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0 or greater.

Microsoft Outlook Express to use e-mail alarms.

A Video Capture card or video capture device: 

For example, to name a few, the following video hardware is recommended. 

(a) A  Logitech USB Video Camera
Use the most current video driver..
Video driver version 6.x works fine.
(Only one such camera can be used with Video Monitoring Software, not 8)

(b)  Hauppauge WinTV Go PCI capture board
Use the most current video driver.
The Video for Windows (VFW)  capture driver version: 3.11 for 2003, XP, 2000, NT and 2.4 for Me, 98, 95 are best.
(supports 1 camera can be expanded to use 8 cameras with a video multiplexer.)

(c)  1-4 cameras can be used with a 4 port video capture card from FG Engineering. 1-8 cameras can be used with a low cost video multiplexer from FG Engineering www.fgeng.com 

(c) Check www.fgeng.com for additional recommended, cameras, capture cards, or drivers e.g. USB devices. There are many to chose from.

Other cameras, capture boards or drivers may vary in their degree of quality and compatibility with this software. If used they should be Video for Windows (VFW) compatible, and support RGB 32, RGB 24 or RGB 16 bits/pixel, and image size resolutions of  320x240 or 160x120 pixels.

Video Monitoring Software (Video Monitoring Software) program and components are installed and running on the local computer.

A Sound Card installed on the computer to play sound alarms.

An internet connection if using the Video Monitoring Software remote access features.

(Use the latest version of DirectX on your computer if possible)
